Lifeguarding & CPR Classes

At Aqua Swim, we are committed to equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to protect lives in and around the water. Our Lifeguard and CPR Certification Classes provide hands-on training in both water and land rescue techniques, critical care interventions such as CPR, and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Whether you’re looking to start a career in lifeguarding or simply want to be prepared for emergencies, our comprehensive courses are designed to help you succeed.

Prior to the course, all students must meet all requirements:


• Be 15 years or older. 
• Swim 300 yards (275 m) using front crawl or breaststroke
• Tread 2 minutes using legs only
• Retrieve a 10 lb (4.5 kg) dive weight from 7 ft deep (2 m)
• Surface and swim 20 yds (18.3 m) with the weight using legs only and exit the pool without using the ladder within 100 seconds 


Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a certificate that remains valid for a period of two years, subject to renewal.

Lifeguard Certification Classes

Aqua Swim’s Lifeguard Certification Classes offer in-depth training in both water and land-based rescue skills. This course will prepare you to respond to a wide variety of emergencies, including drowning, cardiac arrest, and other medical crises, using advanced techniques that could save lives. What You’ll Learn: Water rescue techniques and emergency medical response How to recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of AEDs First aid for various injuries and emergencies Effective communication and teamwork in critical situations Our lifeguard training includes practical, scenario-based learning to ensure you’re fully prepared to handle real-life emergencies. The course also emphasizes time-sensitive care, helping you develop the quick decision-making skills needed to act with confidence. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Lifeguard Certification that remains valid for two years. After this period, you can renew your certification to stay current with the latest life-saving techniques.

CPR Certification Classes

Aqua Swim’s CPR Certification Classes focus on teaching you how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies. This training is essential for anyone who wants to be prepared to handle life-threatening situations at home, at work, or around the water. Our CPR course also includes the use of AEDs, ensuring that you are ready to provide critical care in time-sensitive situations. What You’ll Learn: CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants How to properly use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Techniques for managing choking emergencies Rescue breathing and other critical life-saving interventions How to assess and respond to emergency situations Our CPR classes are designed to provide you with hands-on, practical experience in a supportive learning environment. Whether you are a parent, caregiver, or just want to be prepared, these life-saving skills can make all the difference in an emergency. Once you complete Aqua Swim’s CPR Certification course, you will receive a certificate that is valid for two years. This certification meets national standards, and upon expiration, you can easily renew your certification with Aqua Swim to stay up-to-date with the latest emergency response practices.
